- Portfolio returns refer to the returns associated with The Buylyst Portfolio – a live, current portfolio which houses a significant portion of the Buylyst Partners’ monetary assets. The Buylyst Portfolio will hereby be referred to as “Portfolio”.
- The Portfolio is managed by The Buylyst Partners.
- The Portfolio uses Merrill, A Bank of America Company, as its primary broker.
- Portfolio returns are shown as cumulative time-weighted returns, as calculated by Merrill, A Bank of America Company.
- The Portfolio mirrors The Buy List – usually ALL Buy List entries with a Current Rating of “Buy” or “Hold” are live positions in the Portfolio (hereby referred to as “Holdings” or “holding” or “holdings”).
- Each Buy List entry with a Current Rating of “Buy” is purchased for the Portfolio at least 48 hours after the Buy List entry is posted on the site www.buylyst.com. As such, entry price for each entry in The Buy List may differ from the purchase price of the corresponding holding in The Buylyst Portfolio.
- Each holding in The Buylyst Portfolio is weighted as per the discretion of The Buylyst Partners.
- Weights associated with each holding are rebalanced or changed as per the discretion of The Buylyst Partners.
- Each Buy List entry that receives a “Watch” rating subsequent to that entry having received a “Buy” or “Hold” rating corresponds to a sell decision of the related holding in the Portfolio. Such holdings are not sold from the Portfolio unless The Buylyst subscribers have been notified of the decision prior to any sell trades. Typically, The Buylyst Partners wait 24-48 hours after The Buylyst subscribers have been notified.
- All Buy and Sell decisions related to the Portfolio are carried out at the discretion of The Buylyst Partners.
- S&P 500 Index returns are shown as cumulative time-weighted total returns (with dividends reinvested).
